Stanley Cup Contenders

Lots of people didn't consider the Canadiens as Stanley Cup contenders at the beggining of the season and even after their early success we heard experts say how it was luck and how we would fall down the rankings. At the half way point of the season this is what our stats look like compared to the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Habs and Hawks have the exact same points, wins, losses, OT losses, same regulation wins, same shootout wins/losses, same home record and same away record.

Canadiens vs Penguins

The Canadiens have been an interesting team to watch this season and I'm sure we're going to be in for an exciting game against the Penguins tomorrow. I'll be happy to see the Canadiens give a strong performance tomorrow to prove they can compete with the big teams. Both teams will be playing their second game in two nights and something tells me it won't show much.

Winner takes 1st in the East.
